There is something quite awesome about running communities, certainly the ones I have been privaleged to be part of and work with, and this is where the magic of these camps and day events happens.
Communities are all about the people embracing the love of running and what it can do for them. This is about being part of a movement with like-minded people all brought together through running. So whether your running community is about women, men, vegans, sustainability, music, mental health ... etc etc, then these bespoke run camps and day events are perfect for you!
WARNING: This is not about training to be elite. If you want that then join a running club!
These events are a mix of some amazing content:
1) guided trail runs,
2) inspirational guest speakers
3) running-focused workshops (such as foot-care, navigation, running with poles, preparing for an ultra etc),
4) general mental wellness workshops (such as cold water therapy, meditation, practical mindfulness for the everyday person etc)
Throughout the year different running communities book either residential camps (these include accommodation and food) or single day events. The venues for these vary depending on the groups requirements, but they are always somewhere inspirational and with easy access to blimin' great runs.
